Servant of the Lake Flower Puzzle Solution

The Flower Puzzle is a Day 2 brain-teaser in the garden. It looks like "arrange the flowers by height," but the real mechanic is a combination rule.

The Combination Rule

The puzzle is built from small triangles of three flowers. Each triangle's top flower is formed by combining the traits of the bottom-left and bottom-right flowers below it. Traits are things like colour, petal shape and height.

So you do not just sort by size — you read each pair of bottom flowers, work out what their combination produces, and place that resulting flower on top. The whole grid solves when every combined flower matches the one the game expects.

Step-by-Step Solution

1. Note the traits of each bottom-row flower (colour + height + shape). Write them down — the puzzle gives no undo.
2. Combine pairs: for each adjacent bottom-left + bottom-right pair, place the flower that merges their traits on the row above.
3. Repeat upward until the top of the triangle is filled. The apex flower is the combination of everything below.
4. If a flower "doesn't fit," you combined the wrong trait — back up one row and re-read the two flowers beneath it.
5. The grid accepts the solution when all combined flowers are correct; the garden animation plays and the puzzle clears.

Common Mistakes

• Sorting purely by height — height is one trait, but colour/shape also combine.
• Forgetting that the apex depends on all flowers below, not just the two directly under it.
• Not writing traits down — the puzzle has no undo, so note them before placing.
